Move the World by Walking.
Having your foreground (flowers) on a slightly uphill slope is a great advantage when trying to precisely position these flowers relative to the background (sandstone cliffs). Lowering my camera just a few inches will raise these flowers up the cliff wall. Conversely, raising the camera will show more of the lower cliff and of the road, which I'm carefully hiding.
Tip: I positioned myself with the road between me and the flowers, just to have my flowers on an uphill slope. Roadsides often have the healthiest flowers, shrubs and trees because they get lots of sun. But, you've got to know how to hide the road.
