Icons convey information, the Eiffel Tower conveys Paris. Personal icons are subjects I use again and again in my images. Most photographers walk up to this bench, then take their photo. Include the bench, this invites the viewer into your image and gives them a place to dream of sitting one day. of course, the final step is to capture someone sitting on the bench. Don't stand directly behind the bench, but off to one side. This angle will define it better. Photograph unobtrusively.
