When we arrived at the South Rim, a spring snowstorm was swirling over the canyon's opening. The next morning, we began our descent on a snow-covered South Kaibab Trail. The morning turned to bright sun, as we descended to Phantom Ranch along the Colorado River, Grand Canyon, Arizona.
