Framing on a Windy Day.
I knew there wouldn't be a reflection before I left the parking lot, so I envisioned a composition that showed the lake, but just the amount I wanted. A windy lake has little detail and is often dark and colorless. Look for sheltered areas that can have less wind.
Also, these rocks add interest to the lakes surface.
