A little blue sky adds so much! If I'd cropped out the blue sky, it would look like a cloudy day and be far less appealing. Also, waiting to include the tour boats adds a nice accent to the Seine River (left).
Just after sunset is the best time to take a low light photo from the Eiffel Tower. There's still color in the sky and the city lights look bright. Soon the sky will turn black and it'll be too late.
