Italy, Mediterranean Sea. Framing.<br /> Left photo. The blue sky above Vernassi is just enough to act as an overhead frame. Along the bottom, diagonal lines lead the viewer into the image. <br /> Right photo. Before pointing the camera, I adjust my camera's focal length, ISO and exposure to get at least 1/100 second shutter speed. I'm not totally comfortable intruding on someone's morning smoke, so I work fast and hope for the best.
